Though the visible fruits are sometimes hard to see, we know that God plans to do great things here in Brownsville! We have seen God working all throughout this summer, and this week has been no exception. We are trusting in God to bring the increase, as we continue sowing and watering.

This last Tuesday, we had the opportunity to fellowship with other Western Tennessee Independent Baptist preachers. It was a fantastic time of fellowshipping with fellow laborers, and we listened intently as they shared their knowledge and wisdom from years of experience of working in the area. Pastor Peterson was able to preach at the meeting and share what God has been doing in Brownsville. We are incredibly thankful for the churches that have supported us in the effort to reach Brownsville with the Gospel!

Wednesday was an exceptionally warm day at the park service, and no one was around when we started the singing. Shortly after we started, some adults pulled up to the park, though no children came. Part way through the event, Pastor Peterson went over to talk with the adults. A few minutes later, a man named Jake, who seemed to be saved, came to join us as we were singing. It was such an encouragement that he came! Please pray that he would return. As we were leaving, Pastor Peterson also talked to a family that arrived as we were preparing to leave. They were the same family that Bro. Eric had invited last week. They had attempted to come but were too late. They showed Pastor Peterson the flyer that they had kept on their dashboard so they would not forget! They said that they would attempt to come next week! Please pray for them to come.

God continues to show us, little by little, that He is working. Only God knows the impact that has been made. Over 3,000 people have been reached with the Gospel, and we have handed out over half of the 5,000 John and Romans that were donated to us! We have reached almost every door in Brownsville, and we are starting to go through the city a second time. We have also canvassed the small neighboring towns of Stanton, Mercer, Mason, and Bells.
